Hello there, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far! It’s a very quick visit from me today with this treat bag that I made using the Stamp of the Month image for June at From the Heart Stamps and it is called Ice cream Lineup and here it is!
I printed the lineup of ice-cream and coloured them in with Spectrum Noirs, then I cut them out and popped them on the bag – easy peasy! If you didn’t participate last month you can still take part this month by either buying the image in store or you can get it for FREE if you spend $10 in store and quote SCREAM. You have until the end of the month to upload your creations to the BLOG. All challenge rules and details can be found HERE.
I also used dies from Reverse Confetti, twine, Stickles, glittery peg and twine. Papers are from American Crafts – Dear Lizzie Neapolitan.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day – Karen 🙂
Hi there! I’m popping in super quick today with my Stamp of the Month entry over at From the Heart Stamps. This beautiful set is called Time to Bloom and here it is!If you played along last month this would have been sent to you for FREE and if you link up using this months image you’ll get the Stamp of the Month for May FREE too – and on it goes! If you love this though and didn’t play along last month you can still purchase this in the store – or if you spend over $10 in a single order you can enter the code TICK-TOCK and you’ll get it for FREE! All challenge rules can be found HERE.
As you can see you get a lot of sentiments in this set – great fonts – aswell as the main image and 2 smaller images. I have printed the butterfly out 3 times here so that I could decoupage the top wings to give some dimension. I was intending to use the main image but because I didn’t have time to colour it in I just went for a CAS look with the butterfly and sentiment. I also used my Spectrum Noirs, orange and black Coredinations cardstock and some black adhesive flat-backed pearls. I also cheated a little bit with the antennae! I had cut them off while I was cutting them out, so I used a butterfly die to cut out another butterfly and snipped the antennae off that and stuck it on mine!!!
Thanks for stopping by today – I hope you’re enjoying your weekend! If you want to take part in the FTHS Stamp of the Month challenge, you have until Saturday 30th April to link up on their blog. See you soon – take care, Karen 🙂
Hello and a happy Wednesday to you! I hope you enjoyed a lovely Easter and got to see some sunshine. We had enough so that I could get out in the garden and give it a tidy-up which I was glad about, and my kids will be eating chocolate for ages now to get rid of their eggs – but I don’t hear them complaining!!!
Today I’m sharing my last midweek inspiration card for From the Heart Stamps. The initial six month DT term is up so I have decided to step down. Of course you’ll still see lots of FTHS cards on my blog and I will hopefully be joining in with the sketch challenges and Stamp of the Month challenges when time allows. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Faith and all the lovely ladies on the team for their help when I needed it and for their lovely kind comments and encouragement over the past 6 months. Thank you ladies – you are a fabulously talented team XXX
So, getting back to my card! This is our Stamp of the Month for March called Digging Dog and it is rather cute don’t you think?! If you’re quick, you can still link up your creations to the BLOG – you have until tomorrow night! You can find all the details and rules there too. This is a great set as you not only do you get this playful pooch, but also 8 sentiments and a co-ordinating border image of flowers, dirt piles, and bones! This set is available to purchase in the store but you would have received this for free is you played along last month.
To make this card I also used the following: Patterned papers by Anna Griffin – Fifi and Fido, black cardstock, Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Die, round paper punch, Paper Smooches Paw Die, epoxy sticker, twine, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and Spectrum Noirs to colour.
That’s all from me for today. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week and thanks so much for stopping by today. Take care – Karen 🙂
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have had a good week and are now looking forward to the weekend. Today I’m sharing this card that I have made for my DT post over at From the Heart Stamps using January’s Stamp of the Month called Cozy Kittens. You have until the end of the month to link up your creations using this super sweet image. If you didn’t get this free at the start of this month as part of our progressive challenge you can purchase it in the STORE now which would mean that you will receive next month’s image for free via email. Or, if you spend $10 in the store you can grab a code that means you can get this image for free! If you need to know any more details about our Stamp of the Month Challenge you can find them HERE.
I used a die-cut sentiment from my stash here as I wasn’t really sure for what occasion this card was going to be for! You get 4 sentiments included with the image but I thought by putting this particular sentiment on it would mean I could use it for any occasion! That’s the great thing about these kittens – it can be used for almost any occasion making it so versatile!
Other supplies used were: Crate Paper – Farmhouse, Spellbinders Square Dies, Epoxy sticker, Craftwork Cards sentiment and Spectrum Noirs to colour.

Hello there crafty friends! How are your Christmas preparations going? I’m pleased – and relieved to say that we have just about caught up with what we need to do! There’s still a few little gifts to get and the wrapping to do but apart from that I’m starting to feel a lot calmer than I was a couple of weeks ago!
Today I’m sharing the card that I made for my children using this sweet image called Teddy Bear Stack. This is December’s Stamp of the Month over at From the Heart Stamps, which if you played along last month would have been emailed to you this month free of charge! You can still purchase this in store if you didn’t take part in last month’s challenge which would mean you would receive next months image for free! Details for the challenge can be found HERE.
For this card I also used papers from First Edition Paper – Christmas Wishes, Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped Circle Dies, Spellbinders Tag and Ornament Dies, Lil’inker Bow Die, Marianne Snowflake Dies, Papermania Domed Glitter Stickers, twine, button, Sizzix Scalloped Border Die and Spectrum Noirs to colour.
That’s all from me today. Remember it’s not too late to get this gorgeous image from the store and still have time to link it up on the blog before the end of the month. We really appreciate you taking the time to take part in our challenges – especially at this very busy time of the year! Also, I’d like to wish Faith – the owner of From the Heart Stamps, a very happy birthday for today! Hope you have a fab day Faith 🙂 Thanks for stopping by today, take care – Karen 🙂

Hi there! Hope you have had a good week so far, not long until another weekend!!! Today I’m sharing a card that I have made using this fabulous digital image called Cornucopia, which is actually The Stamp of the Month over at From the Heart Stamps. You still have time to take part in this challenge as it will run until the end of the month. The rules are all HERE. I have also used this weeks i (heart) card sketches with a tWiSt #122 . The twist this week was ‘totally CAS with paper strips’. Mmm, not sure I quite complied with the twist part as I did add a little button and one of my own die-cut sentiments! You can also still take part in this weeks challenge, the details are below.
There are 3 sentiments included with this image but I’m going to be giving this card to a neighbour who gave us some of his delicious home-grown tomatoes throughout the summer, so that’s why this is a ‘thank you’ card. I know there’s no tomatoes on here, but I’m sure he will appreciate the meaning behind the image! This also makes a wonderful Thanksgiving or Fall card too 🙂
I have also used papers from ‘Farmhouse’ by Crate Paper, Spectrum Noirs, button, twine and die-cut sentiment from Craftwork Cards.
That’s all from me for today, but remember we would love to see what you create at From the Heart Stamps with this lovely Stamp of the Month. Thanks for stopping by, take care – Karen 🙂
