Hi, thanks for stopping by today 🙂 I am sharing 2 cards that I made in December for my sister’s twin niece’s. I used Mama Elephant’s ‘Lunar Animals’ stamps and dies – these little characters are so cute! This was a really easy card to make as I just had to colour these critter’s and pop them in the windows that I’d created using My Favorite Things Inside and Outside Stitched Diagnol Square dies.
Both cards were the same design basically, I just used different animals for each of the cards and a different colour scheme.
Other supplies used: Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die and the following papers – Perfectly Plaid, Perfectly Plaid Fall and Let’s Polka in the Meadow. The gift and balloon stamps are also from a Lawn Fawn set – I think it was Party Animals! Belle and Boo enamel dots, Spectrum Noirs and twine.
That’s all from me for this week. Thanks again for popping by, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there! The Big Day is fast approaching and I’m nowhere near finished with my preparations! Never mind, I’m sure it will all come together soon!!! Anyways, today it’s a quick share from me. These are a couple of gift boxes I have made which will have money inside. I love this Scalloped Treat Box Die from Lawn Fawn – it’s so easy to put together and they’re so much fun to decorate! Apparently you can fit a gift card in one of these which is good to know, or you could just fill it with some mini treats!
I also used: Lawn Fawn – Perfectly Plaid Christmas papers, Lawn Fawn Forest Border Die, circle punch, twine, Memento inkpads – Tuxedo Black, Lady Bug and Summer Sky. Mama Elephant – Mini Messages stamps and dies, Mama Elephant – Lunar Animals stamps and dies, Avery Elle – Happy Howlidays stamps and Spectrum Noirs.
I hope your Christmas preparations are going well? I’m feeling a lot more festive now that we have our decorations up 🙂
That’s all from me for this week. Take care and enjoy the rest of your week – Karen 🙂
Hi there, how’s your summer going? Now school is out I will be posting once a week so here is a little card that I have made using the Sweet Succulents stamp set from My Favorite Things. When ‘succulents’ stamps first start appearing I did wonder why would you want to make a card with these images! However, the more cards I have seen – especially one’s that have been water-coloured – the more it made me kind of want a set for myself! I chose this set because the pots are all separate images so you can mix the plants with whatever pot that you want. You can get the dies to match but I just did some fussy cutting here. I have coloured these images with Spectrum Aqua Markers. The sentiment stamp is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps (no longer trading) and for the pop-up element inside the card I have used the Mama Elephant Pop-up Creative Cuts dies.
The card base was made with Lawn Fawn cardstock and the inside was paper from my stash. The banner die is from Lawn Fawn too.
That’s all from me for this week! Thanks so much for stopping by. Take care – Karen 🙂
Hello there! I am back today with a couple of father’s day cards that I have made for my dad and my father-in-law, using this great digi from Bugaboo Stamps called Gus Tidbits Consciousness! I’m pretty sure my dad hasn’t got a lime green and blue ensemble like Gus here, but he does like his newspaper and a cup of tea! The stamped mugs down the side are from Lawn Fawn’s Love you a Latte collection. I also used papers from Hunkydory – All Occasions Essentials Paper Pad, Card Candi, silver mirror card, Spellbinder’s tag die, twine and Spectrum Noirs.
For the second card I used the same paper pad, Mama Elephant Mini Messages stamp and tag die, Spellbinder’s label die, Card Candi, twine and a Bazzill Pleated border. Here again, I used Spectrum Noirs and the Love you a Latte set for the mugs.
Thanks for popping by today. I’ll be back on Thursday with 2 more father’s day cards. Enjoy the rest of your day, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there! Today I’m back with a card that I have made using another set from Craftwork Cards called Bohemian Dreams. The colours are very rich and vibrant and the papers include lots of spots and checks which I love. This card was made for my sister to give to her Mother-in-Law. Everything that I have used here is from this collection apart from the bow which I made using a die by L’il Inker, the tag is from Spellbinders and the sentiment is a mix of Mama Elephants Mini Messages and a set from Clearly Besotted which they have now retired.
That’s all from me for this week. I hope you have a crafty weekend! Take care – Karen 🙂
Hello I’m back again today with another card using Lawn Fawn’s Striped Backdrop Die. I have also used this cute little cow from Mama Elephant’s Lunar Animals – what a great set! I love punny cards so I made the sentiment on the computer and used the Speech Bubble Border Die from Lawn Fawn to cut it out. I also used Spellbinders Hexagon Dies, twine, black card stock, Lawn Fawn Cardstock and gingham cardstock from my stash as well as my Spectrum Noirs.
That’s all from me for this week. I know that I’ll be using the Striped Backdrop Die a lot in the future! My cards this week were pretty quick to make so at least I have some cards ready to go when I need one! Thanks so much for keeping me company this week 🙂 I hope you have a great weekend, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend – or – if you’re in the UK, are still enjoying the extra day for our May Bank Holiday 🙂 May is a busy month for birthday’s in our family so I’ll be sharing some of these over the next week or so, starting with this card that I’ve made for my nephew from my children.
I have used ‘Lunar Animals’ stamp set from Mama Elephant here, I love this cute set! It was nice to get my Spectrum Aqua Marker’s out for a play to do this card. I have also used: Lawn Fawn Flirty Frames and Dies, black cardstock, watercolour card, MME cardstock – Collectable and a Thicker Sticker. The greetings were made on the computer.
That’s all from me for today, thanks for stopping by. Take care – Karen 🙂
