Hello, I hope you enjoyed great weekend 🙂 Today I’m sharing this card that I made for my niece to give to her brother on his birthday which is actually tomorrow! I have used this fab digital stamp available at From the Heart Stamps called Hamlet Pigwit Cold Suds. There is a good selection of messages in this set and includes 4 images – great for any celebration card!
Other materials used: Patterned papers by Lawn Fawn – Let’s Polka in the Meadow, blue card stock from stash, Spectrum Noirs, Card Candi, Spellbinders Circle and Square dies, Kaisercraft banner die and Memory Box Stitched Rectangle die. I made up the sentiments on the computer. Oh, and how could I forget my Marvy snow pen for the beer froth?!!!
As this is the last week of term for my children before the summer hols, I’ll be back on Thursday with some teacher appreciation cards. Thanks for popping by today, take care – Karen 🙂
Hello there, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far! It’s a very quick visit from me today with this treat bag that I made using the Stamp of the Month image for June at From the Heart Stamps and it is called Ice cream Lineup and here it is!
I printed the lineup of ice-cream and coloured them in with Spectrum Noirs, then I cut them out and popped them on the bag – easy peasy! If you didn’t participate last month you can still take part this month by either buying the image in store or you can get it for FREE if you spend $10 in store and quote SCREAM. You have until the end of the month to upload your creations to the BLOG. All challenge rules and details can be found HERE.
I also used dies from Reverse Confetti, twine, Stickles, glittery peg and twine. Papers are from American Crafts – Dear Lizzie Neapolitan.

I think you’ll agree these are 2 fab sets with so many great sentiments!
That’s all from me for today but remember you have until the last day of the month to link up your creations to the BLOG!

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this card that I made for a friend of my Dad’s who recently suffered a stroke. I have also used this image for my Father-in-Law who was rushed into hospital last month. I’m pleased to say they are both doing really well and are now on the road to recovery. ‘Get Well’ cards are hopefully not one’s that we need to send a lot of but when we do isn’t this a fabulous image to use?! It’s called Feel Better Birdbrain and is available at From the Heart Stamps. I used a Craftwork Cards sentiment with this one but you get a great selection in the set and here it is!
There are some great new digital images in the store so it’s well worth having a little peek, and of course the lovely ladies on the DT always provide great inspiration on the BLOG.
I also used Spellbinders Square Dies, Spectrum Noirs, an epoxy sticker and the papers are from My Mind’s Eye – ‘Kate & Co’ Oxford Lane.
I am entering this in the new weekly Sketch challenge at From the Heart Stamps where the twist is to use a die-cut and here’s the sketch if you want to play along too! Challenge rules can be found HERE but everyone who enters gets $1 credit for the store!
Thanks for popping by today, I hope you have a great weekend 🙂 Take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there! I’m popping in super quick today with my Stamp of the Month entry over at From the Heart Stamps. This beautiful set is called Time to Bloom and here it is!If you played along last month this would have been sent to you for FREE and if you link up using this months image you’ll get the Stamp of the Month for May FREE too – and on it goes! If you love this though and didn’t play along last month you can still purchase this in the store – or if you spend over $10 in a single order you can enter the code TICK-TOCK and you’ll get it for FREE! All challenge rules can be found HERE.
As you can see you get a lot of sentiments in this set – great fonts – aswell as the main image and 2 smaller images. I have printed the butterfly out 3 times here so that I could decoupage the top wings to give some dimension. I was intending to use the main image but because I didn’t have time to colour it in I just went for a CAS look with the butterfly and sentiment. I also used my Spectrum Noirs, orange and black Coredinations cardstock and some black adhesive flat-backed pearls. I also cheated a little bit with the antennae! I had cut them off while I was cutting them out, so I used a butterfly die to cut out another butterfly and snipped the antennae off that and stuck it on mine!!!
Thanks for stopping by today – I hope you’re enjoying your weekend! If you want to take part in the FTHS Stamp of the Month challenge, you have until Saturday 30th April to link up on their blog. See you soon – take care, Karen 🙂
Hello and a happy Wednesday to you! I hope you enjoyed a lovely Easter and got to see some sunshine. We had enough so that I could get out in the garden and give it a tidy-up which I was glad about, and my kids will be eating chocolate for ages now to get rid of their eggs – but I don’t hear them complaining!!!
Today I’m sharing my last midweek inspiration card for From the Heart Stamps. The initial six month DT term is up so I have decided to step down. Of course you’ll still see lots of FTHS cards on my blog and I will hopefully be joining in with the sketch challenges and Stamp of the Month challenges when time allows. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Faith and all the lovely ladies on the team for their help when I needed it and for their lovely kind comments and encouragement over the past 6 months. Thank you ladies – you are a fabulously talented team XXX
