‘Best Dad Ever in the World’…

Best Dad Ever

Hi there!  Back again with another Father’s Day card which I made for my children to give to their Dad.  This is a digi  from Bugaboo Stamps and is called Super Dad!  All the papers, sentiments and most of the die-cuts are from the Mr Mister range by Docrafts. I just used my epiphany tool for the small grey stars on the right and Spellbinders Star Dies for the larger ones’s on the left. I know that the ‘D’ on the front of his outfit stands for ‘Dad’ but as my husband’s name is David I thought it was even more appropriate!  I used Spectrum Noirs to colour him up!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a fantastic weekend – Karen 🙂

‘You’re so Fan-tash-tique!’

Moustache Card

Hi there, I hope you had a good weekend 🙂  Yesterday was Father’s Day with a difference in our family as it was also my nephew’s christening!  I am little Harry’s Godmother now!!!  I’m pleased to say everything went perfectly and we all had a lovely afternoon 🙂  All the ‘dads’ in the family had a great day too!

Today I’m sharing this card that I made for my sister to give to our dad (who has, incidentally, got a moustache!) I used a topper from one of Hunkydory’s Little Books called Charming Chaps and teamed it up with gold mirror card, black Adorable Scorable card and patterned papers and card from a Hunkydory range called Fan-tash-tique! I made the sentiment up on the computer and used Spellbinders dies to mount it on.

Well, that’s all from me for today.  I’ll be back on Thursday with the card that I made for my husband from our kids for Father’s Day. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great week 🙂

Take care – Karen 🙂

‘The Grill King!’

Grill King

Happy Thursday! Today I’m sharing another father’s day card.  This time it’s for my brother-in-law from my niece and nephew. Paul enjoys a good bbq so I thought this image was ideal for him!  It’s called Guy – BBQ and is from Bugaboo Stamps! As I’m writing this, the sun is shining so I hope there will be lots of opportunities for a good bbq this summer – then again, I am in the UK!

To make this card I also used a L’il Inker Sun Die, Lawn Fawn – Speech Bubble Border Die, Spellbinder’s Oval Dies, Lawn Fawn – Grassy Border Die, Spectrum Noirs, red cardstock, green American Crafts cardstock, blue paper from stash and the striped paper is from My Mind’s Eye – Boy Crazy.

That’s all from me for this week but I’ll be back on Monday with the card that I made for my sister to give to our dad.  I hope you have a great weekend – Karen 🙂

‘Happy Father’s Day!’

Dad's Day 1

Hello there!  I am back today with a couple of father’s day cards that I have made for my dad and my father-in-law, using this great digi from Bugaboo Stamps called Gus Tidbits Consciousness!  I’m pretty sure my dad hasn’t got a lime green and blue ensemble like Gus here, but he does like his newspaper and a cup of tea!  The stamped mugs down the side are from Lawn Fawn’s Love you a Latte collection. I also used papers from Hunkydory – All Occasions Essentials Paper Pad, Card Candi, silver mirror card, Spellbinder’s tag die, twine and Spectrum Noirs.

Father's Day

For the second card I used the same paper pad, Mama Elephant Mini Messages stamp and tag die, Spellbinder’s label die, Card Candi, twine and a Bazzill Pleated border. Here again, I used Spectrum Noirs and the Love you a Latte set for the mugs.

Thanks for popping by today.  I’ll be back on Thursday with 2 more father’s day cards.  Enjoy the rest of your day, take care – Karen 🙂
