Hello! I hope you had a great weekend and are having a good start to the week. Today I’m sharing this card that I have made using Clearly Besotted’s English Rose stamps and dies and also the ‘Happy Birthday’ stamp and co-ordinating die. That’s all from me for today. Have a lovely day, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there! A super speedy post today from me! This card has been made using Clearly Besotted’s Santa Baby stamps. Clearly Besotted are closed for the rest of this year but will hopefully be open again early in the new year. I also used:- Spellbinders Grand Circle Dies, Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiments Banner Die, Kaisercraft Banner Die, Lawn Fawn papers Perfectly Plaid Christmas and Beachside. Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad and Spectrum Noirs to colour.
That’s all today! I hope you are all well and having a great week 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there! Today I am sharing this card made using the English Rose stamp set from Clearly Besotted. This is the first time that I have used vellum! I really like the softness that vellum adds to a card so I thought it was about time to get some! I used gold embossing powder for the greeting which is from Altenew’s Tulip set. I also used some sequins, Memento inkpads in Angel Pink, Rose Bud and Rhubarb Stalk. The background paper is from MFT – Watercolor Wash, Brights. And I used my MISTI 🙂
That’s all from me for this week. Have a great weekend whatever you’re doing, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi, I hope you’re having a good week so far? Today I have a card that I made for my parents’ friend who had a fall which resulted in a bone in her leg pierce through her skin – ouch! At the time I had just coloured these images from MFT Sweet Succulents set and was debating what card to make with them. I remembered that one of the sentiment stamps in the set was ‘ouch!’ so I thought I would use them to make a ‘get well soon’ card for this poor lady.
Other supplies used: ‘Get Well Soon’ stamp from Clearly Besotted – ‘Message Me’, Spectrum Noirs, ‘Me to You’ Enamel Dots a Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad and the MISTI. Also the following Lawn Fawn products -Stripy Backdrop die, Stitched Circle Die, Everyday Sentiments Banner Die, ‘Let’s Polka in the Dark’ and ‘Perfectly Plaid’ papers.
That’s all from me for today. I hope you have a great weekend, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi! Tomorrow is the last day of term for my children so I thought that I would share a couple of the cards that I have made for one of their teachers and teaching assistants. As you can see, they’re the same design apart from the ‘Best Teacher’ banner on the first card!
Supplies used: Memento ink – Lady Bug, Cottage Ivy and Tuxedo Black. Lawn Fawn – Lets Polka in the Dark papers, Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die and Stripy Backdrop Die. Spellbinders Circle and Banner Die, Clearly Besotted Banner Die and all stamps Clearly Besotted. Kraft and white card.
Although I’m glad that the summer hols are here for the kids, this year there is a tinge of sadness as my daughter will leaving this school and will be going up to ‘big school’! As this is a scheduled post that I’m writing a week in advance I can say that tomorrow and Thursday will be spent at her new school. Everything is crossed that she likes it but I also know that it’s the start of another exciting chapter in her life.
That’s all from me for today, I hope you have a great weekend – Karen 🙂
Hi there! Today I’m back with a card that I have made using another set from Craftwork Cards called Bohemian Dreams. The colours are very rich and vibrant and the papers include lots of spots and checks which I love. This card was made for my sister to give to her Mother-in-Law. Everything that I have used here is from this collection apart from the bow which I made using a die by L’il Inker, the tag is from Spellbinders and the sentiment is a mix of Mama Elephants Mini Messages and a set from Clearly Besotted which they have now retired.
That’s all from me for this week. I hope you have a crafty weekend! Take care – Karen 🙂
Thursday again – can you believe it?!! I hope your week has been a good one so far and you’re now looking forward to the impending weekend!
Today’s card is one that I made for my Son to give to his big Sis for her birthday last month. I used these super sweet stamps and matching dies from Clearly Besotted called Best Birthday – aren’t they the cutest little balloons 🙂 In this set you get 4 animals – I’ve missed out the panda on this card – and also a good selection of sentiments. There are 2 stamps that can be used as the ‘string’ to attach to the balloon although I used some twine here. Libby loved card this especially as there was a piggy on it!
I have also used: DP – Craft Asylum ‘Candy’, Spellbinders Circle and Banner Dies, twine, ribbon, sequins and Spectrum Noirs.
That’s all from me for this week. I hope you have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by. Take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there! Happy Friday to you all 🙂 I’m just popping in today with this ‘sweet’ card that I made a few weeks ago using a now discontinued stamp and die set from Clearly Besotted Stamps called With Sprinkles On. I also used LOTS of Glossy Accents, Stickles, various Memento inks and the spotty background paper is by Craft Asylum called ‘Candy’.
Hope you like it – makes a change from all of the Christmas cards that I have been making lately 🙂 I hope you have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by today, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there crafty people, so how’s your week been? Well, it’s Friday again – how quickly is time whizzing by now! Today I’m sharing some more Christmas cards – yes I know they seem to be on every post at the mo, but after I’ve finished mine I then have to start on the one’s that my Mum wants and Sister! I hope they haven’t got a huge list this year!!! Anyway, how could anyone resist these cute little characters?! These stamps are from a set called Best Christmas from Clearly Besotted. They are little balloons that you can also snip the little tie off at the bottom so that they don’t look like a balloon! I have made these for my children’s teachers and teaching assistants – aren’t they sweet?! I’m not sure if you can really see Rudolph’s nose but it’s very shiny thanks to some Glossy Accents!
I used papers by Papermania Capsule Collection – Festive Spots and Stripes, Spellbinders circle and tag die, Sizzix Scalloped Border Die, Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Die, twine, ribbon, sequins and Glossy Accents.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a great weekend – take care, Karen 🙂
