Happy Thursday! Today I’m sharing another father’s day card. This time it’s for my brother-in-law from my niece and nephew. Paul enjoys a good bbq so I thought this image was ideal for him! It’s called Guy – BBQ and is from Bugaboo Stamps! As I’m writing this, the sun is shining so I hope there will be lots of opportunities for a good bbq this summer – then again, I am in the UK!
To make this card I also used a L’il Inker Sun Die, Lawn Fawn – Speech Bubble Border Die, Spellbinder’s Oval Dies, Lawn Fawn – Grassy Border Die, Spectrum Noirs, red cardstock, green American Crafts cardstock, blue paper from stash and the striped paper is from My Mind’s Eye – Boy Crazy.
That’s all from me for this week but I’ll be back on Monday with the card that I made for my sister to give to our dad. I hope you have a great weekend – Karen 🙂
Hello there! I am back today with a couple of father’s day cards that I have made for my dad and my father-in-law, using this great digi from Bugaboo Stamps called Gus Tidbits Consciousness! I’m pretty sure my dad hasn’t got a lime green and blue ensemble like Gus here, but he does like his newspaper and a cup of tea! The stamped mugs down the side are from Lawn Fawn’s Love you a Latte collection. I also used papers from Hunkydory – All Occasions Essentials Paper Pad, Card Candi, silver mirror card, Spellbinder’s tag die, twine and Spectrum Noirs.
For the second card I used the same paper pad, Mama Elephant Mini Messages stamp and tag die, Spellbinder’s label die, Card Candi, twine and a Bazzill Pleated border. Here again, I used Spectrum Noirs and the Love you a Latte set for the mugs.
Thanks for popping by today. I’ll be back on Thursday with 2 more father’s day cards. Enjoy the rest of your day, take care – Karen 🙂

Hi there! I’m back today with this little fella – a great digi stamp from Bugaboo Stamps called Charlie Birthday. This is for my brother-in-law from his children. As soon as I saw this I knew it would be perfect for him – his dog Rupert is like his baby! So basically I’m always on the lookout for great doggy images 🙂 I also used papers from Anna Griffin called Fifi and Fido, Spellbinders Banner dies, Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Die and Spectrum Noirs to colour. The sentiments were done on the computer. At the moment there is a sale on at the Bugaboo store until January the 15th which is definitely worth checking out!
That’s all from me for today. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a fab weekend, take care – Karen 🙂
Hi there crafty friends – I hope you had a great Christmas 🙂 We have had a fab time here in the Steele household and we’ll be in holiday mode right up until it’s back to work/school so we’re making the most of it!!
I wasn’t planning of posting between Christmas and New Year but I have some time today to share this card that I have made for my parents wedding anniversary which will be on the 4th of January. Now, normally I make more ‘traditional’ cards for my parents and probably more light-hearted one’s from my children for them, so this is something very different!!! Saying that, I know they will have a laugh at this fab image which is called Stella Love – Person to Annoy which is a digi image from Bugaboo Stamps. I’ve been meaning to have a look a good look around this store for a while and when I had some time just before Christmas I did just that and the choice is amazing! At the moment there is a sale on until the 15th of January – 50% off everything!!!
I also used papers by Pebbles called ‘Yours Truly’, stickers from the same line and Spectrum Noirs to colour.
Can I just point out that my dear Mum and Dad don’t look like this!!! Thought I’d better point that out incase they ever read this post! Lol! When I was looking through the stickers that I was going to use here I found the one that’s a stamp sort of shape that says ’47 in Love’. How spooky – it will be my parent’s 47th wedding anniversary – it’s like fate!
Well, that’s all from me for today and probably until the New Year. Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’d like to wish you all a Very Happy, Healthy and Peaceful 2016!
