Hi, I hope you’re having a good week so far? Today I have a card that I made for my parents’ friend who had a fall which resulted in a bone in her leg pierce through her skin – ouch! At the time I had just coloured these images from MFT Sweet Succulents set and was debating what card to make with them. I remembered that one of the sentiment stamps in the set was ‘ouch!’ so I thought I would use them to make a ‘get well soon’ card for this poor lady.
Other supplies used: ‘Get Well Soon’ stamp from Clearly Besotted – ‘Message Me’, Spectrum Noirs, ‘Me to You’ Enamel Dots a Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad and the MISTI. Also the following Lawn Fawn products -Stripy Backdrop die, Stitched Circle Die, Everyday Sentiments Banner Die, ‘Let’s Polka in the Dark’ and ‘Perfectly Plaid’ papers.
That’s all from me for today. I hope you have a great weekend, take care – Karen 🙂
What a fun get well card! Love the bright & cheery design…especially the mix of papers. Hope your parents friend recovers quickly!

I can barely type because I am so squeamish and for some reason it makes my thumbs seize up for a bit! Poor lady. Super card. Always love to see your colour choices as they are so refreshing. Thumbs. Still. Frozen.

Such a fitting card for the occasion. I do love these succulent and cactus stamps of yours, I’m hoping to find something like this on a craft fair this coming weekend. Great choice of bold colors too!
