Hello again! How are we today? It’s a lovely sunny day here today – a bit different from yesterday where it just rained on and off all day! On yesterday’s post I shared the first Pocket Letter that I have made and sent to my lovely new buddy Nicole over at thepaperbaker. Today I’m so happy to be sharing the fabulous PL that she sent to me 🙂 Firstly I need to apologise for the lighting in some of the pics. I usually get Hubby to take my pics – he just seems to be better than me at it but he was at football training all morning so it was down to my ‘expertise’ I’m afraid!!
Where to start?! Well, firstly Nicole has gone with a nautical theme – I LOVE nautical! I dream of living by the sea someday ‘sigh’! Nicole used Carta Bella’s ‘Ahoy there’ papers and stickers – aren’t these fab! All the pocket cards are beautifully embellished! I will use some for cards and some for scrapbooking. Nicole also included larger extra papers which I have decided I will use to cover my next journal and embellish it with some of the fab goodies that have been sent to me 🙂 I love the enamelled letter stickers that spell out the goodies in a pocket – these are great! Nicole has also made me a super keychain with charms that I love 🙂 Not only that, she has also included the bottlecaps I need to make a few more, which I will definitely do with my papers. As if all this wasn’t enough, I have been very kindly given 2 stamp sets and a set of dies that I won on a giveaway on Nicole’s blog 🙂 Everything was beautifully wrapped in red tissue paper and tied with twine (which I have obviously kept!).
I can’t thank Nicole enough for my beautiful PL. I have had a few handmade cards in the past but never a gift (apart from my precious children’s gifts that they have made for me) and this is definitely what I consider my PL to be. I don’t know anyone around me that crafts so being given something handmade and so heartfelt is so special to me 🙂 Many thanks again Nicole x
That’s all from me for this week. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a great week ahead. Thanks for stopping by, I’ll leave you with some pictures of my very nautical Pocket Letter 🙂
