Hi crafty people it’s a beautiful sunny day here – hope you’re having a ‘sunny’ day wherever you are :-). Well, this week the kids went back to school after the Easter break so we’re all back to ‘normal’! That means homework for both of mine at the weekend which can be a bit of a pain especially when the weather is good and we want to be outside! Never mind, it’s all done now, so now I can share this card that I made during the week. This is a stamp by ‘Scruffy Little Cat’ called ‘Niamh’ that I bought from Crafters’s Companion last year so that I could make a card for my niece who was going turn 18 years old. You get quite a few sentiments in this set – I know I didn’t use this sentiment for my niece’s card! Now, I’m not someone who does a lot of colouring – very little in fact and when I look at the amazing colouring that is achieved by such talented colourists on other blogs, I did wonder whether to put my offering on here! But that said I like how she’s turned out really. I love her hair in rollers and the onesie – getting ready for some ‘me’ time! That’s all from me for today – I hope you all have a great week ahead – Karen 🙂
I have used…. Spectrum Noirs, ‘Material Girls’ paper by gcd Studios, Frantic Stamper bow die, all other dies – Spellbinders, sequins and a Marvy Twinklette pen (for the black sparkly eyelashes that you can’t really see in these photo’s!)
A darling fun card, Karen! And, you colored her beautifully! Love the banners and pretty bow, too! We all need unwind time…hehehe!:-)
